The Association

The SSPA is an association of the citizen groups making up the communities of the Shady Side peninsula. The objective is to concern itself with matters affecting the peninsula as a whole and to leave matters of local interest to the civic associations. Because the peninsula is bounded on one side by the West River and on the other side by the Chesapeake Bay, there are many issues that affect only one or a few of the communities.
