- Mosquito Spraying
- The Maryland Department of Agriculture will be carrying out mosquito spraying throughout the peninsula this spring and summer. Their notification is as follows:
- "This year your assigned night of the week is Tuesday. On Tuesday nights between the hours of 7:30 PM and 3:30 AM one of our technicians will visit your community. Spraying will start on June 2nd and end on September 29th. "
- "If you have any questions about the spray program, please contact this office at the information below."

- The county is offering a workshop to learn to identify and control Tiger Mosquitos. Here is the announcement and registration form.
- Mosquito Spraying for 2009
- Mosquito spraying by the county is arranged by neighborhoods. Here is the information about spraying and also about requesting that your neighborhood NOT be sprayed. Please check with your civic association leaders.
- South County Transit Service (SCOTS) Bus Schedule
- This service may end on March 31, 2009 due to low ridership and lack of funds.
- West and Rhode Riverkeeper

- Hazardous Waste, Computer Recycling
- Recycle your old electronics!!! There is an electronics recycling bin at the landfill on Nutwell-Sudley Road.
